\r\nVolt is immediately hiring for multiple Dock Associates, with our Data Center in Maiden, NC. Our client is a fortune 100, multinational technology company, that designs, develops and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services and is considered one of the Big Four tech companies.

\r\n\r\n

As a Dock Associate you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tEnsure all packaging such as cardboard and warps are disposed of according to company policy\r\n\tAssisting in shipping, receiving, storage and distribution activities for the Data Center to include unboxing and boxing/crating of data center equipment\r\n\tAssisting in inventory control, cycle count programs, de-trashing and breaking down materials & keeping the facility clean and organized\r\n\tAssisting in removal of decommissioned assets from the data halls\r\n\tGeneral dock and inventory duties as assigned\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full time, Monday – Friday 7am to 4:30 pm opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

The ideal Dock Associate candidate:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAble to lift inventory up to 50 lbs on a semi regular basis\r\n\tAble to stand and walk for most of your shift, average of 15,000 steps per day\r\n\tAble to work in a team and independently as needed\r\n\tAbility to pass pre-employment screenings\r\n\tMust have intermediate computer skills. Comfort in using them, and comfort with technology\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
