Divisional Vice President dnata Corporate Travel - Emiratisation

As Divisional Vice President dnata Corporate Travel (UAE National) you will be accountable for the delivery of business and strategic objectives for all Corporate brands within dnata Travel Group. This includes accountability for all commercial, financial and business development targets in alignment to dnata Travel divisional/ onednata strategy.


In this role, you will:

Responsible for the formulation and execution of long short-term strategy for the Government and Corporate brands and lines of business, ensuring alignment with the dnata Travel global strategy as communicated by DSVP dnata Travel Group. Maintain a planning horizon of minimum 3 years as per the Medium-Term Plan (MTP).Overall ownership of end-to-end Profit and Loss (PL) accounts, budgeting and delivery of growth and profitability targets, including return to profitability in the current climate and maintaining and growing profitable brands into the future.Responsibility for corporate clients, seeking opportunities for growth, including seeking new clients. Support new global and regional customers onboarding projects, support sales and Business Development Teams with RFPs.Ensure all business activities are carried out in accordance with the dnata Way (governance manual) and all other applicable local international laws, regulations, standards rules. Always acts in the best interest of the company, ensuring all business decisions are made based on authority level limits and after the appropriate level of due diligence and risk analysis has been carried out.Identify both global and local partners and forge collaborative relationships to achieve strategic goals.Evaluate investment opportunities and partnerships to support dnata Travel Group commercial growth plans and build strong pre and post senior partner relationships to drive optimum value and maximise synergies post implementation.Direct senior business leaders - to maintain a competitive advantage in the trade-facing segment and to seek opportunities to expand Corporate’s global market to reach and exceed financial targets.Keep abreast of industry trends and best practice, ensuring product and services offering is aligned. Attend major industry forums, exhibitions, and conferences.Always act in the best interest of the company, ensuring all business decisions are made based on authority level limits and after the appropriate level of due diligence and risk analysis has been carried out.Act as a member of the Board of Directors as required for assigned region.

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

This is an emiratisation role for UAE Nationals.A Degree or Honours in business, management, or finance. A Postgraduate qualification preferred.Experience in senior commercial management roles in a travel or related business or consultingexperience in related industries.Experience of leading a team in a large multi-national organisation, and experience working with or within the MENA region.Experience in a broad range of functional/business areas is preferred.Demonstrates an extensive and current professional network of contacts in the global travel and tourism sector.Demonstrable ability to strategically plan and achieve a direction/vision.Ability to make a positive impact and lead negotiations at an executive levelStrong financial and commercial acumenStrong leadership and stakeholder management skills
