A Divisional Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Manager will maximise revenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations, conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions.

\n

 This role is working & supporting Hotels in the within across the UK&I through a mixture of working both within hotels , GCE offices & home-working.

\n

Please note for opportunity travel is required around the UK to support the GC&E Sales Offices.

What will I be doing?

As Divisional Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Manager, you will maximise revenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations, conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions. The Divisional GC&E Sales Manager will interact frequently with Guests and customers with the intention of earning repeat and expanded business. Specifically, a Divisional Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Manager will perform the following tasks to the highest standards :

\n\nSupport the resident GC&E Sales Manager from the hotel to meet the business needs. \nSupporting in the leadership of coaching and  training of team members from within the GC&E Sales office the role is supporting  \nReceive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue\nManage an events schedule to maximise yield\nCompletion of SOP’s to deadlines \nFocus on a consistently executed up-selling approach\nBuild strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs\nArrange and carry out Hotel show rounds\nResearch & Pro-active GCE activities\n\n

What are we looking for?

A Regional Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Executive serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

\n\nGood organisational and administration skills\nFlexibility in working style and able to adapt style to meet the needs of different hotels and General Managers \nPositive attitude and good communication skills\nCommitment to delivering a high level of customer service\nConfident telephone manner\nHigh level of IT skills\nExcellent grooming standards\nDemonstrated previous experience working in a Sales environment\nFor this role travel around the UK is essential \n\n

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

\n\nKnowledge of the hotel property management systems to include advanced knowledge of  delphi.fdc or other hotel sales software..\nDemonstrated previous experience working in the Conference and Events function\nQualification, degree, or certification in a relevant field\n\n
