Divisional Finance Officer Lead, P&C, A&NZ

Your Role
As the Divisional Finance Officer for Property & Casualty (P&C), A&NZ you will be responsible for all P&C product management reporting. You will partner with Finance and provide financial advice and insights to stakeholders to assist the P&C department in meeting their objectives and priorities.

Your Responsibilities

Work closely with key business stakeholders, P&C lines product managers, and Regional P&C divisional finance managers. Work closely with the ANZ Finance function including FPA, Reinsurance, and External reporting teams. Manage financial Forecasts and Annual Plan preparation on Chubb’s financial system within deadlines, including uploading numbers onto TM1 where needed.  Assist the local and regional P&C teams with annual 5-Year Strategy Plan preparation requirements. Perform monthly production, acquisition, losses, and expense variance analysis for forecast and actuals.  Preparation of various regional reports and commentary relating to financials (Finreview, Premium roll-forward (PRF), Early view, Business Activity Metrics etc). Develop a suite of reports to proactively and effectively manage the P&C financial management requirements. Ensure Regional reporting requirements are understood and are delivered within the agreed timelines.  Assist ANZ P&C product managers to effectively manage their P&Ls and communicate areas of concern and potential improvement.  Manage any external reporting requirements within agreed timelines.  Conduct yearly treaties reviews in conjunction with the product leaders and the reinsurance team. Work closely with Operations to ensure a smooth month-end close. Support product owners with the loading and maintenance of TM1. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and efficiencies within the team.  Provide support to other ANZ Divisional Financial Officers as needed.
 

Your Skills & Experience

Degree in Accounting or Finance (relevant professional membership/qualifications, e.g. Chartered Accountants of Australia & New Zealand, Certified Practicing Accountant) 10+ years of related practical experience preferably in commercial insurance sector. Strong knowledge of financial systems and tools including, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Qlik, TM1 PCW, Peoplesoft and Alteryx. Strong analytical skills. Strong attention to detail. Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to access data stored in warehouses and interrogate it efficiently. Highly skilled at communicating ideas, issues, and other complex scenarios to all areas of the organisation, from Senior Management to team members.
