About the role:

Nalco Water, an Ecolab division, provides process and water treatment chemical and equipment solutions, with a customer base that includes major ANZ businesses across a variety of industry sectors.

We currently have an opportunity for a hands-on District Representative to join our Nalco Water team specifically looking after our industrial/mineral processing clients in Victoria. The support we provide on our customer sites includes solid-liquid separation, anti-scalant, dewatering, cooling water, boilers, RO and wastewater applications.

Reporting to the District Manager, and based in Melbourne metro region, your technical and commercial activities will involve being part of a dedicated team, as well as account managing and developing strong client relationships by driving value added & focused service delivery.

Key responsibilities will include:

Manage and develop the current client base within the region, leveraging our strong client relationships and driving service delivery.

With the team, devising a business development strategy to maximise new account opportunities, for both process services and water treatment.

Assisting with the troubleshooting of technical problems in a timely manner to ensure ongoing chemical treatment of process unit operations and water treatment facilities.

By nature, you will demonstrate:

High commitment to Safety, Environment, Occupational Health and Quality.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with both internal & external customers

Good mechanical aptitude, delivering a hands-on approach to service execution and adding value

Technically, you will ideally have:

Background or exposure to coal process and operations experience and/or have water treatment experience

Excellent problem-solving and technical problem-solving ability.

Strong business acumen and technical skills that will allow you to provide value to your customers

The ability to travel with regular overnight stays will be a prerequisite.
