As a FGO District Manager In Training (DMIT) you will be taking the first step to directly influence the efficient and successful operation of multiple Five Guys locations. You will be developing, training, coaching and mentoring a team of 2 – 4 General Managers to achieve a high level of success.

By directing, implementing, publicizing and administering strategic and efficient operational plans, you will be contributing to the achievement of organization goals and objectives by building a strong foundation to support Five Guys’ growth and sustainability. The DMIT has direct control of their success by working with a District and Area Manager to design and complete their own development plan!

Your Key Job Functions
\n\n\nResponsible for managing the day to day operations of 2-4 corporate stores in assigned district; performs weekly operational evaluations and daily written and face to face feedback of restaurant operations.\nAssumes all General Manager responsibilities of one store in assigned district.\nResponsibility for financial and operational objectives with assigned area and assists General Managers in operating profitable businesses.\nResponsible for all financial and operational Company objectives.\nEnsures units are properly staffed and have a solid game plan for the week ahead.\nLeads by example through working key positions in the kitchen during lunch and dinner shifts Monday through Sunday and demonstrating unwavering standards.\nResponsible for following and promoting all company policies through clear, accurate and timely communications to the stores.\n\n

What You Bring to Five Guys
\n\n\n4 year college Degree preferred\n2+ years of single-unit food service experience with similar scope of responsibilities. Equivalent life experience considered.\n3+ years “Hands On” operations expertise or equivalent.\n1+ years of experience reading and analyzing Profit and Loss Statements.\n\n
