To support that challenge, the Crop Protection team is currently seeking a District Manager in Quebec and the Maritime provinces.
To manage, coach, develop and lead a sales team to deliver the overall business objectives set out by the company. To actively participate on the National Sales Leadership Team in the development of business strategies. Implement campaign tactics and sales plans to meet annual financial objectives. Develop strong regional distributor account relationships in conjunction with KAM head office relationships, to implement account strategies to support portfolio growth. Coordinate activities of KAM and sales team focused on creating end-user demand.
Duties:
Develop a strong Syngenta Team, in support of the corporate culture.To actively participate on the Sales Leadership Team (SLT) to support the development and execution of the Sales strategies and tactics that align with the overall sales plans to meet annual financial objectives. Hire, develop and provide leadership to district sales representatives to reach corporate and personal growth objectives by coaching them through difficult situations, setting performance goals, conducting ongoing reviews, providing guidance and clarity on Syngenta strategies, and ensuring appropriate training is provided and/or accessible. Work with the Customer Engagement Team to ensure appropriate campaign tactics are defined and delivered as well as provide input on value-added customer needs, competitive activities and general market intelligence.Company Description

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or Bachelor of Commerce, plus 8 years experience within sales or marketing in agribusiness, preferably Crop Protection or Seed.
