The Integra District Manager will manage and support Alternate Site distributors to assure sales growth in Medical, Dental and Veterinary sales channels. This sales role will be required to achieve growth objectives within district on a quarterly and annual basis. The District Manager will assist in product evaluations with clinicians, as well as provide sales training and strategies with distributor reps. The main product categories are Miltex premium stainless steel instruments, disposable medical/veterinary products, and dental collagen. Frequent travel via car/air/rail is required.
+ Grows sales in each segment (Medical, Dental and Veterinary) quarterly and annually by company growth objectives.
+ Takes direction from 'Corporate Account Directors' concerning distributor promotions, discounts and large order projects.
+ Build relationships with District distributor (Direct & Corp Acct) management. With a focus on field sales management in order to drive top down Miltex mind share with field sales representatives.
+ Develop smaller independent (Direct) distributors - working with principals & sales management to develop plans to drive sales and market share.
+ Monitors distributors' sales to assure sales growth monthly, quarterly and annually.
+ Manage distribution sale activities - management meetings, sales meetings, new rep training, support personnel training, service issue follow up, pricing management and troubleshooting/problem solving.
+ Co-Travel with distributor sales reps as necessary for field demonstrations and promotion of Miltex / Alternate Site products and services.
+ Represent Miltex /Alternate Site at conventions and sales meetings to promote sales, convey professionalism and improve customer appreciation and awareness of Miltex as directed by management.
+ Manage time and district resources (samples, demo instruments and expense money) to maximize growth while adhering to budget guidelines.
+ Gives presentations of Miltex / Alternate Site product and services to small and large groups to promote sales.
+ Field support in areas of repairs, complaint handling, customer inquiry and end use in-service.
+ Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develops district sales campaigns to accommodate goals of company.
+ Coordinates activity between sales department and other sales related units.
+ Prepares monthly and quarterly sales reports showing sales volume and forecasts quarterly sales.
+ Set up and follow zone travel schedule throughout assigned district to call on Direct & Corp Acct Distributor branch offices.
+ Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes features and benefits and clinical efficacy when applicable.
+ Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
+ Prepares and maintains email distribution lists of all Corp Acct and Direct Distributor field sales and management personnel.
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.
+ Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required; business or science-related degree preferred
+ Minimum two years' experience business-to-business sales (or similar)Two years surgical device or other medical sales preferred
+ Excellent analytical, written and verbal skills.
+ Confidence to communicate with established physicians and other surgical personnelStrong negotiation and selling skills
+ Ability to travel within district via air and car.
+ Physically capable of standing for long hours at shows and conventions.
+ Highly competitive with a strong track record of success
+ Must possess a valid driver's license
+ Medical/Vet/Dental distribution experience is a plus
+ Confidence to communicate with established physicians and other surgical, dental or vet personnel
