Distribution Technician

The Distribution Technician will be responsible for performing all distribution activities in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).  This person will accurately prepare Integra tissue products to be properly and accurately packaged to the required specifications within expected times in order to meet distribution schedules. This individual will be required to be a team player that performs in a high volume, yet safe, environment that demands adherence to company expectations, goals and quotas.  This individual will be required to store and move tissue, both physically and virtually, to appropriate locations before, during and after the tissue has been made available to distribute.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform all duties necessary for the distribution of Integra products to our customers and patients, including, but not limited to:

Final packaging of all released and available tissue on a daily basisLabel production through our Kallik systemThe precise duty of placing all tissue, and all appropriate inserts, into the correct product cartonAccurately complete paperwork for all Kallik and Oracle responsibilities and perform data entryWorking actively with all Quality personnel, and other Distribution team members, in order to insure accuracyKnowledge of all Distribution-related SOP’sDaily preparation of FedEx boxes, and other related shippers, in advance of each day’s shipmentsKeeping a 5S Lean Workplace at all times (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain)Assist with team members in the process of accurately picking, packing and shipping all customer orders throughout each dayAny other duties or responsibilities necessary or as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

High School diploma or equivalent, along with, preferably, a minimum 2 years experience in the human tissue/medical device distribution fieldSome knowledge preferred of AATB and/or FDA standards and regulationsExperienced and proficient with Excel and Word programsOrganized, with attention to detail, along with appropriate analytical skillsOracle and Kallik experience preferredAbility to lift 30 poundsAbility to work with minimal supervisionStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAble to participate in a team-oriented environment, willingness to assist and train others
