Job Duties The Distribution Center Lead will assist the Distribution Supervisor with optimizing team performance and coordinate efficient operation of the department and ensure procedures are followed. This position will also perform operational tasks within department and may have minimal supervision at times. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assign duties to associates, monitor workflow, and monitor associate performance. Perform duties of associates working in the department. Train associates. Participate in team meetings by providing information and feedback as needed. Assist in recordkeeping. Review and complete paperwork. Ensure equipment is maintained. Communicate daily goals and instructions to the team and individuals. Coordinate with other departments or leaders as business needs arise Peform other duties as assigned. Qualifications One year or more of warehouse/distribution center experience Excellent time management and organizational skills Attention to detail, positive attitude, punctuality and reliability Abilitiy to safely operate a variety of warehouse lifts and motorized product-moving equipment.
