Your role and responsibilities

We’re looking for a proactive and strategic Account Manager to spearhead sales initiatives in the cen-tral region of Ontario, reporting directly to the National Sales Director. In this role, you’ll lead the devel-opment and execution of targeted sales strategies through drive distribution and system integrator channels.Your primary goal will be to consistently exceed sales targets, while delivering exceptional value to both our customers and ABB. With a strong focus on expanding market share, boosting profitability, and enhancing customer satisfaction, you’ll play a critical role in driving growth and success in this region.Your main responsibilities: • Promote and drive sales of ABB Motion products, with a strong focus on ABB Drives, across Ontario’s Central Region.• Lead the development and execution of account plans and growth strategies, ensuring sales targets are met through a structured follow-up process across divisions and countries.• Sell tailored solutions to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets, while providing valuable insights into customer needs and long-term plans.• Collaborate with regional sales teams to pursue key motor and packaging opportunities, en-suring comprehensive market coverage.• Monitor market trends and competitor activities, taking proactive action to stay competitive and capitalize on opportunities.• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and channel partners, fostering long-term partnerships.• Develop synergies with other ABB business lines, leveraging existing customer relationships to pursue joint opportunities.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree/diploma from accredited post-secondary institution, preference towards Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is preferred.+ 5 years of Proven track record in sales, service sales or strategic business development in the Ontario market.Demonstrated experience in management of customer accounts and sales strategy.Good knowledge of the industrial distribution landscape and the commercial go-to-market strategy for Distribution and System Integrator Accounts. Knowledge and experience with CRM platforms, salesforce a plus. A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skillsAbility to travel up to 35% within the Ontario region (Occasional national travel)
