We are seeking a Display BDM for our embedded business and require someone with significant experience in the embedded world, with technical understanding of all things display.

Job Summary-

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Display Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our display solutions portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through innovative display solutions.

What will you be doing?  

Identification of net new, large projects for an assigned platform product range (Com modules, custom displays & full custom systems & HMI)Technical advisory "Technology Influencer" function for customers and sales regarding the product lines and customer inquiriesConvincing presentation of new products/Roadmap to customers and salesLeading contact in the first phase of a new project requestCoordinates projects with technical expertise (EOL, PCN, … troubleshooting)Management of internal resources for a successful Design WinOpportunity and project maintenance (Project tool: Salesforce) Design-Win responsibilityMarket and competition analysisSupport marcom activities (Coordination of training, roadshows, exhibitions, …)Support the quote/price and value proposition discussions (share experience)Help sales and customers understand Avnet Embedded engineering and manufacturing processes Engage and build relationships with the strategic Partner NetworkBuild up or extend strong customer relationships at all levels in customer organizations.Other duties as assigned

What about you?

Must have a solid understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market, and the needs of assigned accounts. Understands emerging market trends and interdependencies impacting customers; leverages understanding to expand relationships with customers. May be recognized as an expert in one area.Requires developed sales expertise across a defined portfolio of products./services/accounts; applies expertise in a complex sales environment.Capable of working independently and able to pursue or manage accounts/opportunities with large size/strategic importance/risk of loss.Excellent collaborations skills as will be expected to collaborate with team and leadership. Has direct contact with clients and decision-makers; participates in team sales for major accounts.Strong negotiation skills- Leads the negotiations on medium-sized, complex accounts; plans own territory or account approach. Works within broad guidelines and policies to develop business with new and existing customersDisplay Solutions experience.Strong commercial acumen and commercial awarenessGrowth mindset
