Compensation: Note: You will maintain your current rate of pay. Responsibility: This position will be responsible for the applications, related to Service Delivery’s train control and recording applications. This position would be responsible for the utilization of the Itrac system, and its eventual transition to an interface with ATS-B, the Trip Editor group, and the administration and access to Incident Reporting applications (SIRS/STARS, etc.). The position will be responsible for utilizing these applications, ensuring the outputs are accurate. Eligibility: All Train Dispatchers with at least one year in title are eligible to apply. Desired Skills: + Knowledge of New York City Transit rules, regulations, policies, , and resolutions. + Knowledge of RTO policies and procedures. + Thorough understanding of NYCT’s train movement recording applications (Itrac, ATS, STARS, SIRS). + Knowledge of General Orders and Service Plans. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Knowledge of Rail Strategies and Service changes. Selection Method: Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview. All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
