Temp to Hire **LSI Staffing Houston is HIRING an Entry level Dispatcher at our client in NW Houston.** **Starting pay $15 and up, must be able to LIFT up to 50pounds!!** **Entry Level Dispatcher** **Job Details:** Hourly Full Time **Qualifications:** + Ability to do basic math functions + Active Listener with excellent communication skills + Multi-tasking ability + Sound judgement and critical thinking + Proficient in English (oral and written) bilingual preferred + Basic Computer Skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel) + High School Diploma or equivalent **Full Job Description** **Job Summary:** The role will be responsible for all internal facility dispatch and paperwork. The facility dispatcher is the liaison between trucking companies and our logistics department. **Expected Hours of Work:** + Monday through Friday RotatingShifts and Some Saturday Shifts **Essential Functions and Requirements:** + Oversee all communication with truck drivers at the facility, which includes managing the check in and check out process for the drivers. + Prepare, review, scan and upload all dispatch paperwork pertaining to inbound and outbound trucks/containers daily. + Enter Inbound/Outbound weights in inventory system + Use Internal radio or computer to communicate with internal/ yard coworkers as well as vendors/clients. + Keep logistics personnel abreast of any issues/problems throughout the day. + Verify accuracy of all documentation including that sent by the other departments and bring into action any inconsistencies or concerns. + Prepare schedule for daily activity to include dispatch paperwork and confirming inventory locations. + Must be able to work Saturdays and closing shift 9AM-Business is done. + Safety train all visitors, contractors and drivers as needed. + File office dispatch documents as needed.
