SummaryThe Dispatcher serves as the central hub of communication, coordinating schedules, assigning tasks, and relaying critical information between drivers, technicians, and office staff. They manage logistics, optimize operations, and ensure seamless coordination between the field and office. Additionally, they monitor daily activities, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assign tasks, routes, or jobs to drivers, technicians, or other personnel based on priority, location, and availability. Act as a liaison between field staff and management, relaying instructions, updates, or emergency information via phone, radio, or software systems. Track the progress of deliveries, service calls, or operations using GPS, dispatch software, or other tracking tools. Address delays, route changes, or unexpected issues (e.g., traffic, breakdowns) by adjusting plans or providing alternative solutions. Maintain accurate logs of dispatched calls, schedules, and completed tasks for reporting or compliance purposes. Respond to inquiries from clients or customers regarding status updates, estimated arrival times, or service details.
