Dispatcher

Our client, a well-established logistics company, is looking for a Dispatcher to join their team in Newark, NJ. This role focuses on managing customer communication, supporting dispatch operations, and coordinating efficient transportation logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat with accurate and timely information.Analyze customer needs and provide logistical solutions using GPS and Oracle Transportation Management tools.Coordinate with fleet management to ensure efficient dispatching and timely deliveries.Collaborate with internal departments to resolve logistical issues and improve service quality.Monitor shipments and proactively update customers on order status and delivery timelines.

Requirements:

Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably within transportation or logistics.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to handle dynamic logistics operations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with dispatching processes and fleet management is a plus.

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Rate: $18–$20 per hour (based on experience)Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
