The dispatcher position is the company representative responsible for tracking the day-to-day truck check-in process delivering different kinds of materials at a construction site. As a member of our operations team, the dispatcher will be responsible for managing and maintaining records of all trucks entering the facility on a day-to-day basis.
Duties & Responsibilities
+ Proactively manage the truck check-in process on a day-to-day basis
+ Able to identify the kind of material being delivered and provide directions to truck drivers where to unload the material coming on site.
+ Able to keep track of all the daily reports and document delivery tickets of all dump trucks
+ The Dispatcher will be responsible to open and close the facility during operating hours
+ Ability to multi-task
+ Excellent customer service skills
+ Must be a self-starter with attention to details
+ Perform other duties, as and when assigned.
Required & Preferred Skills
+ Valid Driver License
+ Reliable transportation
+ 2+ years of experience in Construction Trucking or Dispatch – preferred
+ Experience within the trucking industry – preferred
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel)
+ High level of written and oral professionalism
