Lead Dispatcher
Transdev, located at 1560 Broadway, Suite 1000, Denver, CO. 80202 is hiring a Lead Dispatcher. Our Lead Dispatcher ensures the Dispatch team fills all the routes and provides Operators with timely instructions and responses. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. This position is responsible for same-day service scheduling and manifest maintenance for the access-a-ride transportation program. The dispatcher works directly with passengers and carriers and ensures that all runs are on time on the day of service.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee road service and trip performance measures, i.e. route start time, on-time performance, incidents
+ Respond to customer questions and concerns about no shows, cancellations, and missed trips.
+ Manage vehicle operator emergency situations & escalated calls.
+ Supervise staff on weekends and evenings.
+ Manage department reports and other communication tools.
+ Manage escalated calls
+ Support the Dispatch Supervisor in training new employees.
+ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent
+ Minimum of 2-3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred.
+ Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
+ Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
+ The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
+ Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
