Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a skilled and responsible Dispatch Clerk to join their team at a furniture company in the Western Cape. The Dispatch Clerk will be responsible for ensuring that all outgoing orders are accurate, timely, and properly documented. The ideal candidate will have good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with warehouse staff to prioritize orders for dispatch Inspect and verify all outgoing orders to ensure accuracy and quality Pack orders securely and label them properly for shipping Coordinate with delivery drivers to ensure timely delivery of orders Document all outgoing orders in the system and maintain accurate records Communicate with customers to provide tracking information and resolve any issues Assist with inventory management and stock control as needed Maintain a clean and organized dispatch areaRequirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent 1 + years of Dispatch/Warehouse supervisory experience Sage Pastel experience Computer Literate – Word, Excel, Outlook & Google Sheets Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy furniture items Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (preferred)Must be able to work extended hours in line with the project requirements
