About the Role & Program

Disney Programs encompasses the Disney College Program, Culinary Program, and Disney International Program. The Disney Programs Learning team is responsible for bringing developmental, academic and uniquely Disney experiences to life for participants. Our goal is to help develop and encourage others to reach their full potential while navigating the start of their career journey!

The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025.

What You Will Do

As a Programs Learning Team Intern, you will work in the Disney Programs Office and support the Learning team as a first point of contact for participants. This role involves a high level of administrative responsibilities, including computer data entry, handling phone calls, and in-person communication. As an intern you will collaborate with the team to address participant questions regarding learning offerings, academic support, and general inquiries about Disney Programs. Our intern will assist in coordinating offerings and serve as a liaison for key partners!

Partner with faculty, students, and scheduling teams to organize and process exam proctoring and independent study hall requests.

Assess and respond to participant inquiries regarding offering registration, learning certificate requests, and other program-related questions.

Track offering enrollment, attendance metrics, and learning hours through various booking systems and Microsoft Excel.

Manage scheduling, communications, and logistics for adjunct facilitators supporting tours and classroom workshops.

Complete setup and breakdown of classrooms and technology, and lead participant check-in processes.

Support leadership with the co-facilitation of select learning activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license (operating a company vehicle is required for this role).

Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Comfortable lifting 45 pounds, walking up and down multiple flights of stairs, and standing for long periods of time.

Shown guest service skills.

Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

Proven verbal and written communication skills.

Proven teamwork skills.

Demonstrable track record of prioritizing multiple projects.

Previous operations experience with The Walt Disney Company®.

Ability to handle confidential information.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Disney Internships and Programs.

Proven mentoring/counseling skills.

Validated facilitation or public speaking skills.

Experience working with a diverse student population.

Proficiency with programs including DORMS, SAP, Workday, SC Logic, RapID.

Proficiency in an additional language.

Education

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program, OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship.

A student studying in their junior or senior year, or recent graduate within 6 months of graduation date is eligible to apply.

A major in Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Hospitality Management, or related major is preferred.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age.

Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information

Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.

The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025.

Fully available Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.

Able to provide own housing in the Orlando, FL area.

Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
