Dishwasher - Hillcrest (0.8 FTE, Variable Shift)
Washing and putting dishes away, taking out garbage/recycling, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning floor mats/carts, cleaning up dish area at end of shift. Helping with extra cleaning projects as time allows.

Position Summary: 

The Dishwasher participates as a member of the Nutrition Service team collecting, unloading, washing, and inspecting all dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.  This work includes working as a team to process all soiled patient trays, dishes, pots, and pans from all areas of the department then putting all dishes in proper location and maintaining a clean and attractive work area.

High School Diploma or EquivalentPrior work experience in food services / dishwashing

Essential Job Functions:

In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.

Development:

Participates in team meetings and process improvement activities.Meets all competency assessment performance criteria within two (2) months of hire.

Food Preparation and Patient Experience:

Assists with patient tray delivery and pick up.Records patients 'Intakes' including nutrient-specific intakes accurately per established procedures.

Stock Management:

Participates in stocking and organizing food and supply within the department as assigned.

Sanitation and Hygiene:

Maintains, cleans, and sanitizes dish machines and dishrooms.Documents dishmachine water temperatures.Cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other containers and returns to appropriate location in the kitchen area.Adheres to food safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service.

Collaboration and Team Work:

Participates in and supports a positive team work environment.Supports the Nutrition Services team by training to perform additional duties that may include but are not limited to dishwashing, cleaning, stocking supplies, organizing storage and work areas, or assisting with salad preparation.  At any time during a work shift, the employee may be assigned to perform other duties in order to meet patient, customer, and department needs.

Schedule Requirements

This role requires regular and sustained attendance.The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.
