Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid, Onsite #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solution Business based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tIdentifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.•\tEstablishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promotes their understanding of ABB’s complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligns with them to provide a solution.•\tCreating added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective sales techniques.•\tEnsuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.•\tCommunicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.•\tManaging administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
Qualifications for the role\tFresh graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or maximum 1.5 years of relevant working experience in sales, particularly in electrification or related market.\tUnderstanding/knowledge of market trends and product life cycles in the electrification business.\tAbility to collaborate effectively within a team to solve complex problems.\tWillingness to travel for customer meetings and engagements.\tSelf-motivated, growth oriented, driven, tech-savvy.\tProficiency in English and ease in communicating with customers to understand their needs and promote ABB's products/services.
