C. H Robinson is seeking a Disaster Recovery Program Manager who will be responsible for coordinating the efforts to develop procedures that ensure the organization can respond to and recover from a Technology disaster. They will assist in the design, development, maintenance, and exercising of the overall Technology Resilience program to provide continuity of Technology operations for each critical functional area of our systems around the globe. They will also be responsible for leading recovery teams and efforts in real data recovery emergencies and exercises.
This position is open to candidates located in Minneapolis. Duties And Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Partner with leaders and business stakeholders in a collaborative environment to plan and deliver Technology continuance strategies and solutions that meet the needs of all applications and technology around the globe Monitor environmental changes to maintain existing and develop new recovery strategies, processes, and control plans to manage disaster recovery capabilities, coverage, and response Provide guidance and consulting for shift-left activities for reliability, continuity, and resilience of Technology systems Drive continuous process improvement through Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), awareness and training sessions, maintenance of disaster recovery plan documents and policies, process automation, and other disaster recovery program activities Plan, coordinate, and lead disaster recovery exercises including test preparation, execution, reporting, and issue resolution to ensure that disaster recovery plans are complete and executable Develop partnerships across the technology organization, including senior technology leadership, to influence decisions and provide continuity recommendations Maintain personal development through disaster recovery education and disaster recovery industry professional relationships Drive execution of strategic roadmaps defined in collaboration with executive leadership for business continuity and crisis management Provide critical on-call coverage for Technology resilience impacting events Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirementsRequired Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Technology Minimum of 2 years of disaster recovery implementation or execution experience, including familiarity with disaster recovery activities Intermediate working knowledge of servers, networking, databases, and N-Tier Technology application architecture practices Bachelor's Degree or minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience and high school diploma/GEDPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with common scripting languages like PowerShell, JavaScript, Python, etc. ISO/IEC 27031:2011 or ISO 22301:2012 experience Demonstrated program and project management skills Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) or similar disaster recovery certification Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to assess audiences and adjust content, style, and approach to meet their needs Experience leading meetings, keeping focus, and balancing multiple viewpoints from stakeholders Demonstrated ability to document current and future business continuity processes/procedures Relationship management experience with comfort collaborating across the organization and ability to present to, partner with, manage, and influence others across the organization Ability to quickly identify and adapt to new requirements and methods while working under tight deadlines and stressful conditions Proven track record of effectively delivering results in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities Values a diverse and inclusive work environmentQuestioning if you meet the mark?
