\n\nAccountable for material productivity for the Greensboro, NC location.\nOversee the development and execution of the annual cost funnels, including PPV, VA/VE, and simplification initiatives. \nDrive margin expansion through sound sourcing decisions based on total cost of ownership\nOversee the development and execution of category strategies that drive overall margin expansion and working capital efficiency, including inventory turns and payment terms improvements. \nPartner with Operations, Engineering, and I/T to develop and implement sustainable process improvements related to inventory accuracy, and cost improvements.\nPartner with Product Management and Engineering to prioritize and execute improvement initiatives.\nEffective and disciplined use of VBS as it relates to the Supply Chain function. Be a VBS Zealot\nActively participate in and/or lead continuous improvement teams (kaizens) in support of company objectives.\nResponsible for department budget development and performance.\nProvide motivational leadership and communication to all functional associates to ensure understanding and attainment of key performance indicators \nDevelop and improve team performance by providing requisite training, coaching and counseling. Foster the development of a high-performance team.\nLead by example by creating an environment of inclusion and diversity within the team\nEnsure a safe working environment and administer compliance with company policies and procedures; and lead the deployment within the department and throughout the supply chain.\nServe as a key member of the senior operations leadership team and help foster a spirit of FBS across the organization.\nServe as a key member of the Global Supply Chain team within GVR and Vontier; support best total global cost initiatives for Vontier.\n\n\n4-year college degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.\nMaster’s degree in business or supply chain management preferred.\nTen (10) to Fifteen (15) years of directly related operations experience, at least five of which should be within the SCM function. \nProven track record of driving for results and continuous improvement around Supply Chain metrics. \n\nThe base compensation range for this position is $128,750 to $160,000 per year with a 15% ICP. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
