For more information and to learn more about our full range of capabilities, visit www.leonardodrs.com . **Job Summary** The Director Strategic Planning and Corporate Development is responsible for drafting, coordinating, and supporting the Company’s strategic planning objectives and initiatives and the overall strategic planning process. The Director Strategic Planning and Corporate Development also supports the strategic assessment, process and approval of candidates for acquisition. **Job Responsibilities** • Under direction, responsible for coordinating and supporting the Company’s strategic planning and company objectives, strategic planning process, and initiatives. • Support external market research activities and may act as a liaison with consultants or internal stakeholders. • Provide support and participate in activities associated with evaluating and executing potential acquisition transactions, partnerships, alliances, or joint ventures. • Develop long-range planning to ensure the best use of resources to support the key objectives for growth and profitability. • Collect competitive position data on current program and product portfolio, working closely with consultants and key stakeholders. • Assist with competitive analyses and special studies identifying potential opportunities and actions. • Identify and recommend cross-business synergies for coordinated business strategies. • Lead the deployment of tools and processes that enable the business unit leaders to develop winning value propositions for major pursuits. • Assisting senior management team with the plan/objectives to achieve the strategic plan. Develop and conduct continuous reviews of established objectives for progress. • Responsible for understanding the entire portfolio of programs, products, and services across the business, including those under development. • Assist in developing executive level presentations from initial storyboarding to logical structuring to presentation and delivery. • Support senior leadership in special projects as assigned • Coordinate planning studies being conducted within the Company **Qualifications** • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience with 10 years of relevant experience • Preferred experience of 4+ years as a consultant, investment banking research, or analyst role • Demonstrated capability in and familiarity with market research • Strong interpersonal verbal and written skills • Proficient with MS Office Suite to include PowerPoint and Excel • Planning, organization, and time management skills _Taking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
