Position Summary

The opportunity…

As the Director of External Communications, you will collaborate across Axtria to amplify and co-create impactful external communications programs. You will work cross-functionally to establish and execute a strategic external communications strategy that underscores Axtria’s innovation leadership and contributes to the company’s global thought leadership.

You will work directly with Global Communications, Marketing teams, and Axtria’s subject matter experts to identify and craft relevant thought leadership to position the company as an expert in data analytics and an employer of choice. This role will identify creative ways to address pertinent topics and collaborate across internal communications, social media, events, content, and other functions to ensure message alignment and impact in the media.

Job Responsibilities Shape and execute external communications programs that align with our growth objectives. Lead with targeted strategies to enhance our global presence. In India, focus on positioning us as an employer of choice, while globally and in North America, tailor strategies to the media habits of our core buyers. Plan and manage a strategic calendar to ensure the timely dissemination of key messages. Partner with internal subject matter experts to craft compelling, region-specific messaging for communication campaigns. Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and key stakeholders to boost corporate visibility and thought leadership. Manage media inquiries and interview requests, and prepare the executive team for press engagements. Collaborate with Content and Marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging across all external communications. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns, making adjustments to meet company goals. Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge. Act as the guardian of corporate facts and statistics, managing the newsroom and maintaining a monthly scorecard. Education Master of Business Administration in MarketingWork Experience

Qualifications:

12-15+ years of internal communications experience, with a preference for 5+ years in the technology industry. Public Relations experience in India; North America experience is a plus. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, negotiation skills, and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in complex, changing environments. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate across disciplines and demonstrate strong executive presence.

Preferred Skills:
