We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Refinery Catalysts, NA, to lead our Americas sales team for Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) catalysts. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction across the region. This role requires a strong background in sales leadership, a deep understanding of the FCC catalysts market, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Leading and inspiring the regional sales team to meet and surpass annual sales and profitability targets.Developing and implementing sales strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.Creating annual budgets and effectively managing expenditures.Building and nurturing strategic relationships with key customers through impactful negotiations and value-driven selling.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify market trends and foster innovative product development.Establishing and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) to promote transparency and accountability within sales operations.Strengthening existing business through long-term supply agreements and introducing innovative ideas to drive top-line growth.Managing and developing a high-performing sales team, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure ongoing improvement and success.Maintaining an active pipeline of opportunities and delivering accurate demand forecasts.If you...

 

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (MBA preferred).Have at least 10 years of progressive experience in business, marketing, or sales, and having refining industry experience or FCC catalyst experience, which is a plus.Demonstrate a proven ability to lead diverse teams with strong coaching and mentoring skills. Also, being a team player capable of collaborating effectively across regions to maximize global results.Possess expertise in business development, account management, and market analysis.Have excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic problem-solving skills. Also, having experience working in LATAM and speaking Spanish, is a plus.Have experience managing a high revenue target and consistently delivering results.Are available to travel as needed (up to 50%).Create your own chemistry with you@BASF
