Position Overview:
This Project Manager role is responsible for leading and managing technology projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, establish timelines, allocate resources, and manage risks. The Project Manager will oversee the execution of technology solutions, ensuring they align with the organization's goals and technological requirements. Additionally, the role includes monitoring project progress, resolving any issues, and maintaining communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery and adoption of technology initiatives. This role will be critical support for a large multi-year project to replace current payroll, time management and benefits platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages all components of assigned programs, including budgets, resource allocations, scope, schedules, risks, etc. to ensure that agreed objectives are achieved. Balances all program components to maximize overall program value to the business. Identifies opportunities to consolidate projects and create programs that align with business strategies. Acts as project manager for specific projects within a program to assure on-time delivery, effective cost and risk management, and to minimize potential integration issues. Provides leadership, project manager mentoring, and assistance in developing, deploying, communicating, and improving project management processes and tools across McCormick. Accountable for the communication of program progress. Provides regular status updates to senior management with emphasis on delivery of business objectives, management of risks, and assessments of scope and quality attainment. Collaborates closely with the Change Management function to ensure proper alignment of Project Management and Change Management processes and procedures. Ensures that appropriate project management processes and tools are consistently applied to projects and programs throughout McCormick. Leads monthly major project peer reviews to assess and communicate project performance of key strategic projects and programs. Leads post project and program reviews and close-out sessions. Analyzes completeness of financial budgets established prior to project approval.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, May consider 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. in Information Technology, Business, or related field. PMP Certification 10+ years managing information technology projects 3+ years managing programs and concurrent projects. Demonstrated experience managing large projects across multiple business functions and geographies, including multi-cultural, multi-language requirements, and one or more highly complex or enterprise-wide IT programs Experience managing project managers on large-scale projects or complex programs In-depth business and industry knowledge working with commercial, financial, human relations, or supply chain functions Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Project Management Body of Knowledge-Must be experienced in applying project management methods to assess, monitor, and improve project execution. Experience justifying large capital expenditures supported by a financial business case. Strong knowledge of consumer package goods and industrial food manufacturing businesses Regular presentations to General Managers and Corporate-level executives. Regular status updates to steering committees and function heads. On-going coordination with global resources from GBS, business, and vendors

Base Salary: $121,900 - $219,410
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
