Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Director Patient Care Perioperative Services for RWJ Somerset Medical Center.

Qualifications:

BSN Required, MSN Preferred.Current New Jersey RN LicensureBLS required. (American Heart Association)ACLS required (American Heart Association)A minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting is required

Scheduling Requirements:

Full Time 40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

Staff includes RN's, CNA's & Unit Secretaries.Director will oversee the staffing, budget & quality measures An integral part of the Nursing Leadership Team at RWJ SomersetResponsibility for team that supports daily essential patient care Responsible through managers and supervisors for the overall operation of all assigned departments namely Preadmission Testing, Same Day Surgery and Operating Room.

This individual is responsible to have 24/7 responsibility, recruit and manage multiple teams and improve quality and customer satisfaction,
