The Role
Veeva’s OpenData team is expanding rapidly across APAC. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, driven Strategy leader to own the Product’s go-to-market for the region. OpenData is a leading provider of cloud-based reference data to Life Sciences. Our data improves the efficiency and quality with which the industry engages its customers – and in so doing, we aim to support better overall healthcare outcomes. As the Strategy leader for APAC, you will be responsible for all market-facing aspects of OpenData. You will own the success of the Product in this region. You will need to develop and execute a clear, actionable Growth Plan for APAC and work closely with product and operations teams to create a strong product-market fit. Successful strategy leaders think deeply about our customers and their success. You will ensure our teams deliver with high quality and that our products continue to add value to customers. You will also lead the business’ selling model: owning product messaging and positioning, communicating the product and product direction to customers, and setting clear strategies and goals for our sales team. This role will be based in Singapore with regional coverage and regional travel expectations.What You'll DoDrive the commercial success of the business in APACDevelop, own, and execute the business’ 5-year growth plan and yearly objectivesDesign and drive the business’ reference selling model and ensure its effectivenessOwn and ensure an effective and successful pricing strategyOwn product messaging and positioning to customersCommunicate the product and product direction to customersPlay a lead role in senior-level customer discussionsLead and organize the business’ customer eventsRequirements10 years in consulting, technology strategy, or regional pharma commercial leadership rolesPharma commercial experienceDeep familiarity with the use of data in pharma commercial and omnichannel operationsGood understanding of modern data, data management, and analytics methodologiesStrong analytical and presentation skillsExperience in AsiaNice to HaveOther life sciences and healthcare experienceExperience with master data management concepts and applicationsExperience with modern data and analytics solutionsExposure to Salesforce or Veeva CRMVeeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
