Director of Talent Development & Organizational Effectiveness City Irving State/Province Texas Overview:

Our Talent Development and Organizational Effectiveness (T&OE) Director reports to the Global Head of Talent Management and partners with both local & regional HR to execute global processes, talent management and OE initiatives.

 

In this critical role, you are responsible for working with business leaders and HR to create and deploy targeted talent and organizational effectiveness solutions as well as serve as the global practice leader for the talent management process frameworks. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders and manage the delicate balance of the talent & organizational effectiveness needs of the business, as well as the needs of the COE. This Leader on our team needs to be both highly strategic and a strong operator of excellence.

Responsibilities: Talent Development: Partner with business and HRBPs to identify, assess and develop talent and successors for key rolesProcess Design: Provide leadership for end-to-end design and implementation of the global talent management processes (e.g., performance management, talent and succession planning, leadership development assessments)Leadership Development:Needs Assessment and Solution Design: Work with HRBPs and business leaders to define talent related needs (e.g. – succession, role clarity, organizational design, coaching, operating model improvements, etc.) and create tools and solutions that advance business strategyThought Leadership: Share talent management expertise and function as a trusted advisorBudgeting & Vendor Management: Managing project budgets; Contribute to and manage department budgets; Manage vendor relationships and contracts.Utilize strong business acumen, communication, influencing skills to engage leaders and build strong, collaborative working relationships with partners across the organization.People Management: grow and develop team membersLeadership Development: Lead and drive strategic initiatives in leadership development, fostering a culture of continuous growth and excellence; Develop and implement comprehensive leadership development programs to cultivate high-potential talent and ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders within the organization.Organizational Effectiveness: Drive initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness by analyzing and optimizing processes, structures, and systems to improve overall performance and employee engagement; Able to lead and partner with HRBPs, leveraging systems methodology, process, tools and resources to enable the effectiveness of our Business & Functional organizations; facilitate the advancement of ONE Celanese culture and employee experience.Listening Strategy: design and implement a Listening Strategy; Execute employee engagement survey Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

8-10 years of experience in Talent Management & OE within a mid-sized global organization

Required Education:

Undergraduate degree in Organization Development or Human Resources or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; Master’s degree preferred

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

Knowledge/Experience implementing DDI Leadership Competency Framework & ResourcesExperience operating in a matrixed environment, and track record of leading through diplomatic influence rather than formal authorityAdvanced knowledge of Talent, Performance, Succession & OE strategy, methodology, processes, systems, and tools.
