NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Student Life in the office of Student Engagement. The Director will provide oversight of activities and events for MBA and Graduate programs. They will direct all aspects of MBA and Graduate student organizations; assess, recommend, and provide resources to enhance quality and content of student groups' programs, events, and publications. The Director will work with leadership on evolving the vision for the student experience, establish goals, including short- and long-term strategic objectives and lead the conceptualization of new and innovative programming for the entire MBA experience. They will ensure MBA student activities and event needs are being met and evaluate quality of service delivery against peer MBA programs. In addition, the Director will also lead and develop staff, and manage budgets.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree (a Master’s Degree in Business Administration is preferred) and 7+ years relevant student services or activities experience, including experience supervising staff, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent planning, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as familiarity with standard office software are required. Relevant experience at a college or university is preferred.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $80,000.00 to USD $120,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
