The Role

We are seeking an energetic, strategic leader to oversee our DevOps chapter and software platform initiatives. The Director of Software Engineering – DevOps will drive the vision, strategy and execution of continuous delivery, infrastructure automation and operational excellence across our cloud environments, ensuring rapid, reliable and secure software delivery aligned with business goals. 

The Main Responsibilities Lead the definition and execution of the companywide DevOps strategy, establishing scalable cloudnative architectures and automated delivery pipelines. Recruit, mentor and grow a highperforming team of software and DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership and continuous improvement. Design, implement and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines that enable zerodowntime deployments and rapid rollback. Champion Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, defining SLIs/SLOs and driving incident response, postmortems and reliability tooling. Collaborate with Product, Security, Compliance and other engineering leaders to ensure alignment of delivery processes with organizational standards. Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) across all product lines. Evaluate and integrate new technologies (GitOps, serverless, AIdriven operations) through proofofconcepts that accelerate innovation and reduce costs. Establish FinOps practices to monitor cloud spend and optimize resource utilization. Own the operational security posture of the platform, implementing best practices for identity, networking and data protection in multicloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).What We Look For in a Candidate Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience in software development and/or platform engineering, with at least 5 years leading DevOps or SRE teams in cloud environments. Proven expertise designing and managing scalable, secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). Handson experience building fully automated CI/CD pipelines and implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi or Bicep. Proficiency with one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, Go, Java, Bash. Indepth knowledge of container technologies (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm) and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry). Strong background in security best practices, networking and distributed systems. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders, translating strategy into actionable roadmaps. Professional proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.What to Expect Next
