As a Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank, Credit Technology team - you lead a technical area and drive impact within teams, technologies, and projects across departments. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of software, applications, technical processes, and product management to drive multiple complex projects and initiatives, while serving as a primary decision maker for your teams and be a driver of innovation and solution delivery.
You will be leading an agile team that works towards the strategic Risk and P&L stack for Credit business by developing and leveraging components which bring multiple lines of business across Markets to a consistent architecture. You will be driving development of software components for the firm’s state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. The target state will have multiple technical stacks and teams converge into one, and in the process the leadership for both the new architecture and support for the business on existing stack will have to be strengthened.

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and expert applied experience in front office technology. In addition, advanced experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of technologists Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent Practical cloud native experience Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development and operational stability Understanding of Credit or similar financial markets products Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical fieldPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
