Summary

CHS is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Shuttle Programs to join our team. In this critical leadership position, you will be responsible for developing and executing the transportation sourcing strategy for our rail division, ensuring that CHS remains competitive and aligned with market trends.

Responsibilities Provide leadership, strategic direction, and risk management for our agricultural supply chains.Analyze and determine most complex trading strategies to optimize opportunities, volume and profit while controlling risk as it relates to rail shuttle (BNSF/UP/CPKC).Collaborate and guide purchases, sales, and trading activities in the rail corridors to achieve overall success.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to grow CHS business in a profitable manner, manage risk, and reduce cost while determining the best sourcing options.Coordinate in a matrix environment with many stakeholders to ensure that the shuttle programs run smoothly.Effectively participate in rail relationship management as dictated by the supplier relationship management strategy.Minimum Qualifications (required) High School diploma or GED7+ years of experience in Commodity Risk Management and/or TradingPrior leadership experience with progressively advancing level of leadership responsibilitiesAdditional Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field preferredBNSF, UP, and CPKC production knowledge preferredCommodity markets and trading subject matter expertiseExceptional analytical and decision making skillsExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
