Director of Revenue - Park Hyatt Shanghai

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Director of Revenueis responsible to provide revenue accounting leadership and business best practices to the hotel. The Director of Revenuehas responsibility for all technical accounting aspects of hotel's revenue streams. This role will provide key leadership surrounding the hotel's revenue recognition policies and will regularly interface with the sales, operations and marketing organizations. The Director of Revenue is also responsible for royalty accounting and invoicing, and has two direct reports.

Identify new revenue opportunities. Regular reporting Optimize and expand distribution partnerships Challenge and influence hotel to improve service and operational levels.

Core Job Responsibilities

Managing day to day yield Daily pick up analysis and strategy adjustment Create and develop pricing strategies Provide weekly forecasts of expected results Manage and oversee strategy of 3rd party distribution Responsible for assessing, analyzing and pricing group business strategies Analyze overall monthly performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies. Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and in full working capacity Ensure web site booking process is maintained up-to-date and functional. Work in liaison with hotel sales and reservations departments as a team. Regularly check the input and quality of data, (segmentation, Denials, tracking etc) Responsible for best practice standards to include: competitor analysis, marketing modeling, distribution yield management, business mix yield, length of stay yield, inventory availability by channel, pricing control and new pricing concepts. Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, Tour operator, Corporate, Consortia, groups etc)

Ideally with a university degree in Strategic Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Director of Revenue, Marketing Manager, Marketing Analyst. Strategic orientation, as well as good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
