The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for the management of inpatient and outpatient Rehabilitation Services both on and off the main campuses of AdventHealth Zephyrhills and Dade City. Coordinates and supervises clinical and operational functions of the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy departments. Responsible for business development, to include starting up and managing satellite clinics. Responsible for aligning all work and resource management with the facilities’ mission, vision, values, goals and strategic imperatives. Facilitates performance improvement activities within the department and participates in the AdventHealth System of Care activities. Maintains efficient and effective department operations while ensuring compliance with all state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols. This position description is intended to describe the general nature and work responsibilities of the position. Employees are required to comply with policies and procedures of AdventHealth Zephyrhills and Dade City as well as to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. All job responsibilities are subject to change as deemed necessary by AdventHealth Zephyrhills and Dade City Administration. Responsible for clinical and operational management of the Rehabilitation Services Department staff.Supports and empowers staff to embrace the mission and value statements of the organization.

Assists in formulating annual budget, evaluates department performance versus budget and takes appropriate action to remain within budget guidelines.

Determines capital budget needs based on equipment condition, system design, and market developments to ensure necessary resources for provision of high-quality patient care services.

Functions as liaison between administration, patients, physicians and other healthcare providers.

Responsible for productivity management.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Graduate of an accredited school of Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy. Master’s Degree in PT, OT, SLP or MBA preferred.

At least 3 years of therapy management experience in a lead or supervisory role.

Current Florida Licensure as PT, OT or Speech Language Pathologist
