We're seeking a passionate and experienced leader to join us as our Director of Quality of Life. In this vital role, you'll be a champion for our residents, empowering our center teams to create vibrant and engaging environments that promote well-being and fulfillment. You'll be a mentor, a coach, and a strategic partner, guiding our Activities and Social Services programs to ensure they not only meet but exceed federal and state guidelines.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Inspire and Empower: Provide training, support, and mentorship to center-based Activities and Social Services teams, fostering their growth and development.Cultivate Excellence: Conduct regular audits of center programs, identifying areas for improvement and collaborating on action plans to enhance resident and family satisfaction.Strategic Visionary: Contribute to the development of innovative activity and social services programs, guidelines, and protocols at the Support Center, regional, and center levels.Talent Catalyst: Assist in developing regional and center-level talent and performance management strategies, empowering teams to deliver exceptional care.Compliance Champion: Ensure all programs adhere to federal and state guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of quality and care.Collaborative Partner: Work closely with Center and Regional team members, fostering strong relationships and open communication to achieve shared goals. Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

Deep understanding of Social Services and Activities requirements in long-term care and/or behavioral health.5+ years of experience in Activities/Social Services within an acute or post-acute care setting (skilled nursing/long-term care preferred).3+ years of supervisory experience in a mid-level management position overseeing Activities and/or Social Services.Activities certification or comparable certification and/or Licensed Social Worker (required within 3 months of hire).Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Proven ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with diverse teams.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Willingness to travel as needed.
