The Director of Program Management is a key customer service leadership position responsible for leading the program management team at the site to advocate for the customer and Creations’ needs and translate the needs into action. The Director of Program Management represents the voice of the customer internally and the voice of the business externally. The Director of Program Management leads the program management team to create, manage, and execute account strategies for assigned customers to meet revenue and profitability goals. The Director of Program Management plays a key role in developing customer strategy, creating alignment with other functional teams, and driving the standardization of processes within the program management team. This position functions in tight cooperation with the Business Development team and will coordinate proposal preparation and establish and monitor project plans and schedules for new and existing customers. The Director of Program Management reviews CFT metrics and works with the Program Managers to develop improvement plans in areas including but not limited to customer service, financial performance, customer cost, quality, delivery, and continually seeking value-added business opportunities.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:
Program Management Leadership
Provide guidance and set goals for the program management team. Hold the team accountable for meeting goals. Lead the Program Management Team to proactively manage customer P&Ls, ensuring objectives are met by analyzing program costs, revenue, and profitability performance.Ensure the revenue goals are met or exceeded in all aspects of the Creation value stream. Cross-functional leadership - Responsible for monitoring all aspects of account program management, which operates in a Customer Focus Team (CFT) matrix management capacity with the following functional areas: production, planning, materials management, quality, engineering, and new business development.Functional Leadership
Responsible for providing Program Managers with the tools and training to ensure that products are completed on time and within budget; provide pricing rationale and recommendations supporting quotations and proposals for new business opportunities.Responsible for ensuring that program operational metrics are in place and are effectively managed by the Program Management team. Monitor key operational performance metrics such as on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness, price for value, and use of technology. Review company performance to standards, regularly reacting to metrics by identifying root causes and solutions.Team Development -
Develop a strong and capable team that functions as a unit, enabling revenue growth and financial performance that meets or exceeds established annual targets. In the process, hold the staff accountable for results. Grow talent and develop successors/new leaders for Creation. Support and mentor Program Managers in aligning with stakeholders on deliverables, managing communication, championing meetings, and ensuring timely updates are provided to customers.Review and approve program expenditures within the authority matrix. Conduct regular reviews of financial results and variances with the management team and ensure ROI. Prepare monthly program financial and operational reports for management review, leading the management presentations and Customer Quarterly Business Reviews Assist with managing and executing new programs in accordance with budget, schedule, and technical objectives; leverage relationships with existing customers to identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts. Travel up to 50% as required between multiple sites in the Greater Toronto Area. Aligning strategies and procedures across various sites to ensure standardization and the implementation of best practices.Collaborating with Senior Leadership to foster team cohesion, support, and efficiency of the Program Management function across GTA business locations.Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to manage resource allocation for Program Management excellence in the GTA business locations.Supervision and Performance Management of Program Managers across GTA business locationsQUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required skill, knowledge, and abilities. Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive business management and/or manufacturing operations experience Minimum five (5) years in a Program Management role Experience managing projects from concept through production, material control/scheduling, and cost accounting/budgeting. Knowledge of manufacturing best practices such as Lean, 5S, and Kaizen is an asset. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems such as Oracle or similar systems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel office equipment, objects, tools, or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Additionally, this position involves frequent and continuous computer-based work. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and identification, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as required.

Working Conditions
The working environment is generally clean; however, this position may be exposed to occasional dust, metals/solder occasional exposure to high noise levels from operating machines or physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts. The employee must wear designated PPE where required. Otherwise, office/business casual attire is appropriate.
