S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders. the Director of People Partnerships plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's culture and driving its success. This role serves as a trusted partner to organizational leaders, designing and delivering people solutions that align with business goals and support team members at every level. Serving as the leader of the People function's "front office," the Director of People Partnerships leads People Business Partners and Generalists as they collaborate with teams across recruiting, training, benefits, compensation, employee relations, and more to implement initiatives that enhance performance, foster engagement and retention, and elevate leadership capabilities. Together with other leaders of the broader People team, this leader drives best practices in talent management, performance development, employee relations, and engagement, ensuring a positive and impactful experience for team members, leaders, and Joint Ventures alike.


Position Specific Responsibilities

Collaborates with business leaders (COO, Division Presidents, and Regional Vice Presidents) to understand key objectives and challenges and develop people strategies that support and align with business goals.Leads a team of trusted advisors to senior leadership on all People-related matters, providing insights and recommendations that drive performance and enhance organizational effectiveness.Guides the People Business Partners/Generalists team to the optimal design and execution of People solutions, including workforce planning, organizational design, and change management initiatives.Leverages People analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to team member performance, retention, engagement, and satisfaction.Drives talent management processes in partnership with assigned leaders, including recruitment, development, performance management, succession planning, and retention efforts.Partners with leadership to identify and nurture high-potential talent, creating career development opportunities and pathways for growth.Leads talent assessments and succession planning efforts to ensure that the organization has a robust pipeline of skilled leaders.Partners with leaders to drive team member engagement initiatives, ensuring that team members are motivated, productive, and aligned with company goals.Collaborates with People and functional leaders, supporting listening strategies, including team member surveys, analyze results, and oversee the implementation of action plans.Works in partnership with the Retention team to design and implement initiatives to reduce turnover.Works in partnership with the Director of Employee and Labor Relations to design and implement innovative processes with a positive impact on the team member and leader’s experience.Guides the team to a balanced approach to ensure business needs and HR compliance are properly applied to every situation.Takes a proactive approach to identifying and addressing people-related challenges, including team member engagement, organizational culture, and performance issues.Implements people best practices and interventions that help prevent and resolve issues before they escalate, ensuring a positive and productive workplace.Continuously evaluates and improves people practices, ensuring they are aligned with business needs and industry trends.Supports leaders in the creation of strategic people plans, conducting monthly/quarterly calibration meetings to enable successful execution of plans.Builds and leads a high-performing and innovative team of People Business Partners and Generalists.Serves as a trusted coach and advisor to leaders across the organization, guiding them in navigating all people-related matters effectively.Leads by influence to inspire and align stakeholders at all levels, driving engagement and commitment to shared goals without direct authority.Demonstrates authentic leadership by embodying the organizational culture, serving as a visible and trusted spokesperson for the People team, and advocating for the needs and voices of all team members.Provides mentorship and guidance to peers within the People team, fostering a unified and strategic approach to People initiatives and solutions.Performs other duties as assigned.


Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.Ten (10) plus years of progressive HR experience, with at least five (5) years in a leadership or strategic HRBP role.Proven track record of driving talent management initiatives and aligning HR strategies with business outcomes.Experience in employee relations, labor relations, benefits, compensation, talent management, engagement, retention, organizational design, and change management.Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.Healthcare industry experience is desirable but not required.


Skills

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties. Strong written and verbal communications.Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Articulates and embraces integrated healthcare at home philosophy. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information, such as patient and Company files. Detail and process-oriented; able to track and coordinate tasks related to processes/projects and deliver appropriate follow-up to ensure timely delivery of work.


Physical Demands and Work Environment: The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions. Adaptations can be made to accommodate team members with disabilities. Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
