\n \n Job Description

The Human Resources Director is responsible for managing activities of the human resource (HR) department.

\n

These responsibilities include managing HR services, Payroll services, and assisting with policies. The HR Director serves as an advocate who ensures that all interactions between the company, i.e. Certified Management, Inc. dba Associa Hawaii and employee are handled and managed in a fair and consistent manner. Other responsibilities may include recruiting, new hire orientation and on-boarding, employee development and training, payroll and compensation and benefit administration. The HR Director will also be responsible for employee relations along with performance improvement. Additionally, the HR Director is responsible for understanding and keeping abreast of compliance and other regulatory concerns, both Federal and State.

\n\nDirect HR operations. \nManage and supervise human resources initiatives, recruitment, compensation, benefits, training and \n\n

employee relations of an organization as needed.

\n\nEnsure policies, procedures and HR programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goals \n\n

and are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and laws.
ยท Develop local HR strategies with input from Regional Vice President of HR and Branch President.

\n\nProvide guidance and support to the local executive team\nEnsure HR needs align with business objectives\nAssist with conflict-management and resolution\nOversee and manage local employment-related legal issues \nSupervise and provide guidance to the HR Dept and payroll personnel \nWork closely with local Insurance Broker for health care package each year \n\n Requirements\nUnderstand the operational objectives of the organization\nExcellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations\nThorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices\nA business acumen partnered with attention to the human-element\nAnalytical skills to include data analysis and reporting\nExcellent organizational and leadership skills\nOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills\nDiligent and firm with high ethical standards. \nProficient on Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). \n\n

Proficient on business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.)

\n\nKnowledge of company policies, procedures and forms at an expert level. \nKnowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements. \nKnowledge of conflict resolution techniques at an expert level. \nConfidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.\n\n\nBachelors Degree Required (may be substitute with related experience)\nMasters Degree Preferred \n10+ years of directly related or closely related experience \n5 - 7 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience \n\n
