Seeking a new career challenge? Then Woolpert is seeking you! Woolpert is hiring a Director of Human Resources to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This is a hybrid role, with the ability and desire to work in our Kilcullen office on an as needed basis, with occasional travel to the UK and various countries in the EU. This position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer (US based) and is responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing human resources strategy in support of all Woolpert companies and operations in Europe, specifically in the areas of, talent management, succession planning, development, training and compensation. The Director will be responsible for Talent Management design and leading the delivery of Woolpert’s talent management processes and initiatives such as talent acquisition, performance management, leadership development, career development, learning, executive coaching and leadership assessment. This role will lead a team of HR professionals located across Europe and the UK.  

Responsibilities

As a Director of HR at Woolpert, you will: 

Provide overall leadership and guidance to the UK & EU HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training and leadership development, compensation and benefits, organizational development, performance management, coaching, diversity, and employee engagement. Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the firm’s vision and Strategic Plan. Oversee a formal talent review and succession planning process ensuring that the organization is positioned with the talent necessary to achieve both its current and future business priorities and plans. Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall firm business objectives, including our Great Place to Work goals.  Function as a strategic business advisor to senior management in UK & EU regarding key organizational and management issues.  Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal clients to both understand their needs and communicate the direction for all programs and initiatives. Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.  Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefit plans that are competitive and cost effective for the firm.  Work closely with leadership by developing processes and practices to build a more diverse workplace. Develop and direct an employee retention strategy. Implement an annual operating plan for all human resources.  

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements   

A minimum of 15 years’ experience in Human Resources field and a minimum of 10 years managing an HR team.  Experience in a multi-site, professional services firm highly desirable. Experience managing both EU and UK entities highly desirable. Experience being part of a Global HR Function and reporting to a Global CHRO BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university.  MBA, MA, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.  In office (Kilcullen) minimmum 1 day per week Travel to UK as needed, however may be more frequent in the first year; travel to U.S. and Europe as needed to support business growth and building relationships  MS Office skills.
