This includes talent management, succession planning, learning and development and training, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and health and safety initiatives\. Specifically, a Director of Human Resources will perform the following tasks to the highest standards: + Drive HR Strategy – Align HR initiatives with business priorities, ensuring effective execution of HR plans\. + Talent Management & Diversity – Lead succession planning, workforce development, and diversity initiatives\. + Employee Engagement – Oversee engagement surveys and implement action plans to enhance workplace culture\. + Change Management – Lead HR\-related change initiatives and ensure smooth transitions for employees\. + HR Compliance & Systems – Ensure adherence to company policies, labor laws, and optimize HR technology usage\. + Hiring & Workforce Planning – Develop staffing strategies, oversee hiring processes, and ensure optimal talent acquisition\. + Managerial Hiring Support – Guide department heads in selection, interviews, and hiring decisions\. + Compensation Strategy – Design and manage total rewards, incentives, and benefits to attract and retain talent\. + HR Team Development – Train and support HR team members to handle employee relations and HR functions effectively\. + Performance & Recognition – Implement performance reviews, employee recognition programs, and staff development initiatives\. + Plan and forecast the short and long\-term talent requirements for the hotel to support its business plans + Maintain a best practice recruitment approach, including the Company's vacancy management system, to attract the best applicants + Build a strong career and succession planning system to retain and develop talent + Implement training and development strategies to continuously improve performance and customer service + Oversee the hotel's human resources database and payroll system + Provide a framework for counseling, coaching, and welfare services + Manage the Opinion Survey and the calendar of Team Member social events + Manage and resolve, promptly and completely, all employee relations issues + Maintain an awareness of competitor human resources activities and best practices **What are we looking for?** Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry\.
