The Director of Home Health is responsible for the daily operations and the quality of the Home Health Department. Maintain an administration role for the planning and achievement of objectives that are consistent with WelbeHealth. The Director of Home Health may be the Director of Patient Care Services. This role is a member of the WelbeHealth leadership or management (if a supervisor) team and facilitates collaborative relationships across WelbeHealth teams and with external stakeholders to promote the WelbeHealth values, team culture and mission.

Duties and Responsibilities

\n\nOrganize and direct the ongoing functions of the Home Health Department\nMaintain ongoing liaison between the governing body and staff\nResponsible for ongoing oversight of the Home Health quality management system and responsible for multi-site home care operations\nParticipate, evaluate, and direct strategic, short-range, and long-range planning for educational and participant care\nDrive proficiency with enterprise budgeting, resource planning, logistics, development and execution of strategic initiatives\nMonitor the record system and statistical reporting system for proper documentation, planning, and evaluation\nMonitor and take reasonable steps to ensure: Participant rights are exercised, compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and professional. standards are maintained, compliance with established policies and procedures, compliance with the participants plan of care\nOversight and monitoring of successful audit requirements per the PACE and Home Care requirements along with oversight and monitoring of state audit requirements\n\n

Qualifications and Requirements

\n\nMust be in the State of California and comfortable with 40-50% of travel to Welbe’s Centers for business needs\nRegistered (RN) required, (BSN) preferred – Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing: Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) License with which you practice required\nBachelor’s Degree in Health Administration, Health Care Management, Nursing Administration, or Business Administration preferred\nMaster’s Degree preferred\nMinimum seven (7) years of experience in health services administration, or administrative experience in home health or related health programs. Other related health programs may include a hospital, nursing facility, or hospice\n\n\nThree (3) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members\n\n\nHighly motivated, inspirational leader who is able to innovatively engage, support and remove barriers for the team to ensure the team consistently meet established goals\n\n

Salary/Wage base range for this role is $132,181- $158,617 / year + Bonus + Equity. WelbeHealth offers competitive total rewards package that includes, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications.
