Director of Global Project Management and Syndication - Hearst Global Solutions

You will play a key role within Hearst Global Solutions, working alongside Studio, Sales and Operations to deliver efficient solutions and processes for content production and syndication in Hearst Global Solutions. You will ensure timely, efficient and cost-effective production of branded content, through effective supervision and day-to-day management of Global Project Managers and Syndicators across all Hearst Studios (UK, US, Italy).

ABOUT THE ROLE 
In this role you will manage the Project Managers and Syndicators while collaborating with creative solutions and other production teams in Hearst Studios. You will manage key initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution of large-scale campaigns across our networks.

You will provide first-hand support with client-facing communications and status updates for high-stake multimarket partnerships. You will also strategically lead production workflows, postproduction, and media management, assisting in tracking pre-sale workloads to ensure productions meet deadlines, stay within budget, and adhere to workflow guidelines.

Responsibilities further include managing freelancer searches and hiring, maintaining a preferred vendor list, participating in creative brainstorms and approval sessions, and efficiently allocating resources to projects. Overseeing production calendars, manage profitability for HGS Commercial Production, and liaise with other production hubs to identify cost efficiencies and streamline execution. Additionally, you'll negotiate contracts with suppliers for assets not produced in-house.

 

ABOUT YOU
You will have good knowledge of industry costs and legal paperwork, along with significant experience in managing teams. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, supervising multiple productions simultaneously.

Key responsibilities include ensuring best practices for field and post-production workflows, prioritizing tasks and responses, and demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with project management tools is essential, and proficiency in a European language is preferred.
