Description:
Summary:
The Director of Gaming Operations is responsible for the overall operational and strategic direction, administration and coordination of all activities within the Table Games and Slot Operations departments.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
+ Hire, train, develop, measure performance, and discipline of assigned leadership staff
+ Oversee the execution of the division’s operational plans in the assigned areas
+ Monitor and control labor costs by ensuring adequate coverage based on business demands
+ Ensure work performance standards, and employee development programs maximize the individual growth and development of staff
+ Monitors the performance of the game mix and implements changes to maximize revenues and increase guest satisfaction
+ Ensure slot operations staff effectively utilizes the company’s player tracking systems to facilitate guest capture, guest history, play evaluation and awarding of complementaries to valued customers
+ Develop and implements plans and programs to ensure effective and efficient service, maintenance and product mix to ensure maximum revenue and games utilization
+ Ensure that all gaming, state and federal laws are enforced
+ Work in conjunction with security and surveillance to detect and address
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
+ Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
+ Perform other duties as assigned
