JOB PURPOSE:
The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will lead the FP&A team and drive the financial strategy, planning, and analysis activities of DRB. This critical role provides senior management with financial insights and projections for strategic decision-making. The Director will oversee the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring budgeted investments are thoroughly vetted with sound financial analysis. They will implement processes, tools, and controls to align investments with strategic goals and meet financial performance targets. Additionally, the Director will work to maintain financial results in line with budgets and forecasts, deploying countermeasures as needed to achieve targeted financial outcomes.

Strategic Planning and Analysis:
\n\nLead the development of financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.\nProvide insights, recommendations to senior management, and decisions based on financial analysis and projections.\nCollaborate with business unit leaders to develop long-term financial strategies and objectives.\n\nBudgeting and Forecasting:
\n\nOversee the annual budgeting process, including the development of detailed financial plans.\nManage the quarterly forecasting process to ensure accurate and timely financial projections.\nAnalyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast, providing explanations and recommendations for corrective actions.\n\nFinancial Reporting:
\n\nPrepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.\nEnsure compliance with SEC regulations and other financial reporting requirements for publicly traded companies.\nCoordinate with external auditors during financial audits.\n\nPerformance Management:
\n\nDevelop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the company’s financial performance.\nImplement and maintain financial systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.\nConduct financial performance reviews and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.\n\nTeam Leadership:
\n\nLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team.\nFoster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the team.\nProvide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for team members.\n\nBusiness Partnership:
\n\nAct as a strategic partner to business units, providing financial guidance and support.\nCollaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.\nSupport M&A activities, including due diligence and integration planning.\n\n\n
