Role and Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Director of FP&A will be a key leader in the Retail Business Planning organization, and is responsible for the management of $425M+ Marketing budget, as well as OpEx and Investments which vary by year. The role will lead a team of professions to support with expertise across more than 30K Mobile Retail outlets, including National Retailers, Carriers and Samsung Store locations.

Role & Responsibilities

Responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of finance packages detailing financial projections, results, variances, and trend analysis for Retail Mobile, Home Entertainment, and Digital AppliancesPresent results to senior management along with risk analysis, opportunities, and options while considering relevant industry and competitor informationMonitor and track productivity/savings initiatives in partnership with the SRMs teamTrack performance metrics and proactively assess business opportunities to drive operational and financial performanceManage full P&L, A/P, A/R and marketing bulletins as well as FP&A supportEstablish and maintain strong business partnerships with the Division Controller and Corporate finance teams to ensure organizational alignment and share best practices across lines of businessDevelop Pro-Formas to drive the evaluation of Retail locations across all lines of businessDeliver reporting and analytics to a variety of key business stakeholders, utilizing appropriate data to create actionable spending plans effectivelyResponsible for leading talent development initiatives for direct reports

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

BS/BA in Business, Finance or Accounting and 12+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with exposure to retail financials, accounting, and operating budget managementIndependent thinker and self-starter with a proven ability to develop strong working partnerships in global corporationsExperience utilizing SAP R/3 softwareProficiency in with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

MBA, CPA, or CFA and 10+ years of progressive relevant experienceExperience with Tableau, Access, Alteryx, SAS, APT Test & Learn, and other analytics tools
