Our client, a small but growing real estate development company is looking to hire a Director of Finance. \r\n

This role will lead the finance team, reporting directly into the owners of the company. They are specifically looking for candidates that have experience working in the real estate development space.\r\n

The duties and responsibilities of the Director of Finance are as follows:\r\nLead the annual budgeting process for the development projects and operating properties.\r\nUpdate, track and review project development budgets and operating property budgets.\r\nImplement line of business-based financial modelling for forecasting and business cases that will evolve into group level P&Ls (Profit & Loss).\r\nIdentify risks and opportunities against budgets & strategic roadmap.\r\nAssist in the development, implementation & maintenance of planning tools.\r\nSupport ongoing strategic direction through the preparation of financial modelling on land acquisition, project development and ongoing capital projects.\r\nAct as primary relationship to banks\/lenders for all financial requirements including construction loans, term loans and permanent financing.\r\nEvaluate new investment opportunities and perform financial due diligence on potential acquisitions.\r\nLiaise with Administrator on all cash management matters, including capital calls, equity funding and project financing.\r\nCollaborate with the Real Estate Operating (Property Management) Team on evaluating strategies to maximize financial performance of operating properties and projects under development.  \r\n\r\n
