The Director of Events should be market-savvy and have a strong customer base. They need to lead all event activities and work closely with revenue-generating departments to achieve the hotel's event customer satisfaction goals.The Director of Events should adapt efficiently to business changes, ensuring professional event execution that exceeds customer expectations. They are responsible for creating and implementing marketing plans to grow the company's products and services profitably.Leading a team with mentorship to encourage growth and development is essential in this role.The Director of Events should be market-savvy and have a strong customer base. Minimum 2 years of experience as management position in international luxury branded hotels Food and Beverage department will be an advantage.Experienced in large-scale international events operations serving multicultural and diverse profiles.University degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.Strong operational, administrative, and interpersonal skills, along with excellent financial acumen are requiredProficiency communication in Chinese and English with additional languages considered an advantageProficiency in Microsoft Office, Opera, Reserve, Cvent, and Lanyon systemsMinimum 3 years of service as Director of Events responsible for event sales and planning in international luxury branded hotels.
